Teen Camp Day 2

Hello,

It has been an action packed first full day here at Goldeye. The morning began with a delicious breakfast. The kitchen staff served us pancakes, eggs, ham, hash browns and more!

After breakfast, we divided into four groups and started our activity rotations. Campers rotated between horseback riding, tie-dye, hockey and social skills. Today's social skill was having a conversation. Campers  played games and did different activities that taught them some of the important skills of having a conversation. We did three rotations before stopping for lunch and then carried on with the last rotation after eating.

Once everyone had completed the stations, we all came together for a game of kickball. We had time for a snack before we headed off to do the team ropes course and archery with the Goldeye staff. Campers challenged themselves to do these activities and they all did very well.

After such a busy morning and afternoon, campers were able to have some free time before supper. After enjoying yet another tasty meal, we played camp-wide games Manhunt and Sardines. After a fun filled game, we ended our night with a musical campfire and evening snack.

It was one busy day, and tomorrow we will have even more adventures!
