Hi everybody,
It was a hot day at camp but we were ready for it. After our morning Zones of Regulationcheck-inn and daily goals, we played a quick camp wide game of Guardians of the Galaxy. We then met up at the flagpole to have a snack while we waited for the bus to come for us. Once it did, we loaded up and headed to Calaway Park.
The park wasn’t too busy today and it was great to see the kids running to and from rides and hearing them laughing as they enjoyed the attractions. Several kids boarded the big green roller coaster, the log ride proved to be a great way to cool down, the swings were a relaxing way to enjoy the breeze, and the bumper boats had spray guns to keep each other cool on the pond. Along with those, there were plenty of rides with a variety of intensities so everyone could find something that suited their ride preference. Once the day was over, we got back on the bus and came back to camp. After our afternoon Zones check in, campers headed home for the day.

We’re having Pirate Day tomorrow! Counsellors will be dressing up and our head counsellors have decorated the whole camp so it feels like we’re out on the open sea. We even have pirate themed games and activities (including plenty of water games).
