It was a busy day for Camp Amicus!
Today, most of our time was spent at Calaway Park. After our daily first-thing Zones of Regulation check-in, we filled up our water bottles, slathered ourselves in sunscreen, and got ready to head out!
Our bus picked us up before 10am, meaning that by 11, we had established our central meeting spot and were ready to disperse. Much like the Calgary Zoo last week, we were split into a 1:3 ratio so that we could spread out across the part. Our groups were sorted in accordance to ride preference. Due to this, no two groups had the same Calaway experience, although many of us ate lunch together.
It was a gorgeous day to spend in the sun, but it meant that keeping on top of sunscreen and water bottle fill-ups was a must. It also meant that Timber Falls, in which one gets all-over wet, was a popular choice! Storm, Chaos, the Haunted Hotel and the Bumper Cars were also popular with many groups!
We met up in preparation to head back to Foothills Academy at 2:30, which allowed us enough time at the end of the day for our second daily Zones of Regulation check-in just before the end of our day.
