Hello Everyone!
Our last full day was a great one! After some yummy pancakes this morning we were all really excited to start our morning activities of field house games, horse back riding and our social skills lesson about bullying. The horses were a really big hit, even the campers who were a little nervous at first were really brave and went for a ride! It was so nice to see campers supporting each other to overcome their fears. Although it had been a warm morning it was cloudy but we all decided to go down to the lake for what we were calling a polar bear plunge and wouldn't you know by the time we got to the water the sun had come out and we ended up staying for a while! Once we dried off and had some lunch we enjoyed some free time in the cabins, playing dodge ball and preparing for the talent show. We were overwhelmed with requests for an other game of Predator and Prey and with it being our last day we decided that would be a lot of fun and did have a great game! We ran around until dinner where we enjoyed some spaghetti and meat balls! Then we all played some more games in the field before starting our Camp Amicus Talent Show! I was so impressed by all the talents campers shared with us there was singing, drawing and guitar playing to name a few! The show took us all the way to bed time and after our busy day we all needed a good nights sleep. Tomorrow we board the bus around noon to head back to our families, we had such a great week it will be hard to say goodbye!
