Things have started off well with settling into cabins, and making new friends over some rice krispie squares. It is great to see so many new and returning face at camp, and our counsellors are excited for the week ahead.
One of the most wonderful things about teen campers is their maturity, and recognition of that camp is a special place for them to grow and learn together. When we asked what makes camp special today we heard from a returning camper "its just safe here". I am so glad that our camp is a safe place for our teens, and I so look forward to sharing with you all of their growth and accomplishments this week.
But for now, I can already smell dinner, so I am going to head to the dining hall and find some new friends to sit with.
