Day Camp 1 - Reptiles, and Kickball and MORE!

What a great day at camp! Our friends from Reptile Parties (http://www.calgaryreptileparties.com/) came to visit us with snakes, lizards, spiders, and even a frog! It was great to see how our campers can use these experiences to help negotiate topics that could be quite complex - such as self advocacy, and how to regulate their emotions.

Not surprisingly, all of our campers learned a lot about different reptiles, and about how to make sure that they pick the right pet for them (reptile or not!).

We also spent some time today outside, playing kick ball, and learning our social skills.

Don't forget, tomorrow we are going swimming! So make sure you pack a towel, bathing suit and any other toiletries they will after their swim.

Also, if you are picking up your child from our swimming location, please ensure you have touched base with our Administration Assistant before or at drop off.
