Overnight Camp 2: Day 4

A BIG Hello from Camp!

What a big day we had yesterday at camp! There was so much happening, it was hard to keep up with.

Our day started with a great breakfast of scrambled eggs, hash browns and sausage - as always, our amazing chef's also had cereal, bagels, yogurt and fruit for us as well. I am almost certain that I get more options of what to eat at camp then I do at home.

We spent our morning working on friendships and giving and receiving compliments. We always play games to help teach and practice these skills. It is always so wonderful to hear what compliments campers have for each other, as they are so perceptive and really find compliments that make other campers feel great about themselves.

Our wonderful friends from Mount Media arrived at camp yesterday to help us film some of the amazing things at camp. Our campers have really loved having a filming crew around, and I have a feeling that next year, all of our Overnight 2 campers will be asking where their friends with the camera's are.

We spent our afternoon was spent with the Goldeye Staff, who ran some incredibly impactful high ropes programs. Between campers supporting each other on the teams course, and the team swing, it was a big afternoon of success for everyone.

In the evening we had a rematch of capture the flag - as demanded by our campers. It was amazing to watch them work together and play fairly, and be flexible with each other, not matter how excited they are for the camp wide game.

Well, back to spending time with our wonderful campers and staff for me!

All the best from camp,
