Yesterday, was an amazing first day at camp. Our bus ride to camp was full of Tarzan and Shrek, which our teens loved.
Once our campers arrived at camp, set up our bunks in our cabins, and went for a tour at camp. Our teen campers are so mature, and collaborative, it is great to see them welcoming our new campers, and making everyone feel at home.
We played a great camp wide game of Temple of Doom - which is a great game of dodging and running.
Once we had played and laughed and ran around, it was time for dinner. We had sheppards pie, and salad, which so many of our campers liked, they went for seconds.
After dinner it was time for our opening camp fire. Make sure you ask your campers about the difference between a BANDANA, and a BANANA. The skit was so funny, I had tears in my eyes from laughing.
It was a great first day at teen camp. We are so excited to see what this week will hold.
