It was pirate day here at camp! Our counsellors were dressed up as pirates and campers participated in endless pirate activities.
At breakfast we began with some pirate trivia. Then we moved into our camp wide game of soccer, which introduced our Social Skills lesson on personal hygiene. Camper groups also got to create their very own pirate flags.
Once lunch was over, we went on an adventurous treasure hunt. Pirate themed crafts were then created. The next activity was a hike around Goldeye Lake. On our hike, we stopped and played camouflage.
Back at the camp, we played a few other pirate games. Campers then had some time to prepare for the talent show that will be happening tomorrow night.
We enjoyed a tasty supper and then jumped into a wild game of zoo break. Our night ended once again with a toasty camp fire.
The sun was shining on us all day!
