While we had some sunshine yesterday at camp, today has been a bit rainy. We have some great indoor spaces - the field house, the dining hall, and the cabins - to continue our programming!
Campers have already played some high energy games in the field house, gone to do some nature programming with rain jackets and boots in the amphitheater, and had some chill time with crafts, giant jenga, and making sensory sticks in the dining hall.
The rain did not stop any of our polar bear dippers this morning from braving the refreshing water of Lake Goldeye. While some campers need a bit of extra encouragement, others are ready to do spins off the dock at 730 am!
This afternoon, we will have some choice activities (basketball, canoeing, improv/drama, and minute to win it), as well as some free time, and a hike. Thankfully the rain has stopped, so we are fully steam ahead!
All the best from camp,
Kathleen "Quack Quack" Gurski
P.S. don't forget, a memory book of all the pictures from camp will be sent out next week!
